San Gabriel Valley Youth Soccer Recreational League

It all begins with a ball. That is the motto that has inspired San Gabriel Valley Youth Soccer (SGVYS) to start a new kind of recreational youth soccer league. SGVYS is centered around the idea of developing a long-term love for the game as well as individual player development. Their goal is to ignite a passion for soccer while teaching the fundamentals and at the same time increase soccer awareness in the community. They believe in positive coaching, good sportsmanship, integrity, and passion. These core values are the key to setting our young athletes on a path for success both on and off the field.

Run by licensed coaches that focus on individual player development including the following: ball mastery, coordination, agility, and balance, while providing a fun learning environment. This allows players to be creative and develop problem-solving/leadership skills. SGVYS League also provides a pathway to higher-level competition through a partnership with Los Angeles Soccer Club.
